Good job

Rosie likes to watch a show on Netflix on her grandfather's phone, but that's the only place she's ever watched it.  This morning when my husband put the same show on for her at our house, Rosie told him, "Great thinking to put on 'Color Crew,' Dad!"

Cheesy

When Rosie went to the dentist, she got a goodie bag with toothpaste and a toothbrush in it.  She was so excited about these "gifts."  The next day when it was time to brush her teeth, I opened her regular toothpaste, but she said, "Not that one!  I want the cheese one!"  The cheese one?  Oh, right.  Her new toothpaste from the dentist has Sponge Bob on it.  She thought he was cheese.

Right back at ya!

I could hear that Rosie was starting to get into something she probably shouldn't be into, so I cautioned her, "Don't be naughty..."

She answered, "Don't be naughty either..."

Good big sister, part 4

Rosie and I were in the kitchen making dinner, and Zack started to fuss in the living room.  Rosie stopped what she was doing, said, "Oh, no.  I think Zack's crying," and ran into the living room singing "You Are My Sunshine."

Song of the Day, 6 April 2012

Rosie's been singing this all day.  I'll bet you didn't know these are the lyrics:

"Baa, baa, black sheep, February wool.  Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full."

It's a race!

During our evening walk, my husband had Zack in the stroller on one side of the street, and I had Rosie by the hand on the other side.  My husband shouted, "Hey, Rosie, I'll race you!" and started running.  Rosie yelled back, "No, Daddy!  Don't erase me!!"

Backseat driver

We were all in the car, my husband driving.  He accelerated enough to make the engine rev, and Rosie said, "Daddy, slow down a little!"
