New article of clothing

We were in Rosie's room, and she happened upon her Ariel doll, who was wearing her fins but had nothing on her top half.  Rosie frowned and said, "Uh-oh.  She needs her ninny-fitters."  Her daddy, who was more composed than I, said, "Oh, the seashells that fit on her ninnies?"  "Yeah, those ones."

Motivation

Rosie climbed into her brother's playpen one day and was shrieking and laughing about how she was in there.  Then she got tired of being in there and tried to climb out, but she didn't think she could.  She asked both her father and me to help her out, but we both tried to encourage her to climb out herself.

Then she dropped her beloved Hello Kitty outside of the playpen and said, "Oh, no!  Hello Kitty!" and hopped right out.

Magic trick

When we moved, we brought most of our things to the new house, but some of the kids' toys were still at the old house.  Rosie referenced something that was still in the old house, and my mother asked her what happened to the old house.

Her answer: "It disappeared."

Things that happen while the Rosiegirl is left unattended

When I came out of the shower, she was sitting on my bed painting her toenails.  She actually didn't do a bad job...

His style

Zack's hair was looking particularly wild after he woke up one morning.  When Rosie saw him at the breakfast table, she said, "Mom, Zacky's hair is grumpy!"

Cinderella

It's getting to be about twilight, and we are in the car driving home. Rosie has been occupied with drawing in her colorin book, but she looks up says, "We'd better get home to the big house. It's getting late."

There are lots of Poppies and lots of Grandmoms!

Rosie has two grandmothers and one great-grandmother who are living.  My grandmother called on the phone, and my husband answered, saying, "Hi, Grandmom."  Rosie overheard this and asked, "What kind of Grandmom is it?"
